 Central Baptist Church of Hawesville, Kentucky is a church with a heart for people. People are the reason we do all that we do here. We have and are in developing a multitude of different ministries here at Central. Our lay people are the driving force behind most of the leadership of our ministries. We are unique in that fact that, so many of our members are involved in helping us live out the mission Christ has given us here at Central. We do have a vision, and this includes bringing to reality in a person's life the realization of their need of a Savior, their need for surrender to His service, and their need to strive to grow in Christ

Greetings,
Thank you for taking the time to view our website. Within it you will find the times of our worship services, Sunday School and special opportunites for you to serve the Lord with us here at Central Baptist. We welcome you! Not only that, we urge you to come and worship God with us. The Bible says in Psalms 122:1, "I was glad when they said unto me, let us go into the house of the Lord."
Our church family is very unique in the way we treat our guests. We'll treat you in so many ways you are bound to like one of them! In all seriousness if you are looking for a church home, where the Bible is the foundation of preaching and teaching, where the people sing from their heart with thanksgiving unto their Lord and Savior, where the sinners are saved, saints are strengthened, and the Savior is praised, then Central Baptist is for you!

 These are SOME of the things Paul

focused his prayer life on.

 

I found it amazing that what he prayed for was the security,

protection, holiness, and outreach of the body of Christ (the Church).

And also he prayed for the same way concerning his own life.

The only area that comes close to Paul praying

for personal healing was when he asked God to remove the thorn in his flesh,

but the reason was so that he would not be hindered in his work for the Gospel.

He finally proclaimed that God's grace was all that was needed.

What an example God's Word has left for us.

What Paul Prayed for the Church:

 

Romans 15:5-6 -- Church Unity

Romans 15:13 -- Joy, peace and hope

 

II Cor. 13:7 -- That they would do no wrong.

Ephesians 1:18 -- Wisdom, knowledge and comprehension of God's power

Ephesians 3:15 -- Strength & power through God's spirit in the inner being of Church members and that they be rooted and established in love,

Philippians 1:9 -- For love that abounds in knowledge and depth of insight

Colossians 1:9 -- Knowledge of God's will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding

Colossians 4:12 -- Stand firm in God's will, mature and fully assured

II Thessalonians 1:11 -- That by His power God may fulfill every good purpose and every act prompted by faith

I Tim.2:1 -- For those in authority

Philemon 1:6 -- Active in sharing your faith

Romans 15:30 -- Rescue from unbelievers and for acceptable service to the saints

Ephesians 6:9 -- Words be given him to fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel

Eph. 6:20 -- Fearlessness in preaching

Col.4:3-4 -- Open doors for the gospel and clarity in its proclamation

II Thes. 3:1 -- That the message of the Lord may spread rapidly and be honored.

II Thes. 3:2 -- Deliverance from wicked and evil men.

God loves you.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.- John 3:16

You do not have to be perfect to be a Christian. God will accept you as you are. Not even one of us is perfect. We have all sinned, or done wrong.

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. - Romans Sin separates us from holy God. Separation from God means not experiencing the love God has for us and having no hope for the future. But God has a solution.

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. - Romans 6:23 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name. - John God wants you to choose eternal life today. Do not delay any longer.

Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him. - Revelation 3:20a For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. - Romans Will you accept God's invitation? You can pray this simple prayer right now to be assured that when you die you will have eternal life in heaven:

Dear God, I confess that I am a sinner. I am sorry and want to turn around and come to you. I believe that Jesus Christ died for my sins on the cross and was raised from the dead. I receive Jesus as my Savior and confess Him as Lord. Amen.

If you just now accepted Jesus as your Savior, please seek a local church of Bible-believing Christians and ask to be baptized. It is important to follow the Lord's command to be baptized. It is also important to grow spiritually in your faith among other Christians. May God bless you.
